Foster Home Needed: Dollar

If we are to continue being able to rescue Morgans at risk, it is vital we have more fosters nationwide to care for and love and remind these horses that people can be trusted.
Dollar is one of a dozen needing a home until adopted.
Forever Morgans is a FOSTER based NATIONWIDE NETWORK. We do not have a facility, so we depend on people to open their hearts and barns to a Morgan Horse in need in order for us to save more.
Please go to www.forevermorgans.org/foster.htm fill out an application and start on the road to saving Morgans!   For more information, contact us at ForeverMorgans@hotmail.com.

WCG’S DOLLAR #157121

2002 Registered Chestnut Gelding, 14.2hh
WCG’S LITTLE CABALLO x WCG’S LITTLE SUE
Pedigree
Boarded in PA
Rescued November 2016
Adoption Fee: $600

WCG’s Dollar is a pretty red chestnut gelding with a striking blaze and a kind face. He was in rough shape when he was taken in – poor guy – but he’s looking much better now. He was under the care of a vet to help treat a hoof abscess and try to resolve any other physical issues he may have. According to his previous owner, Dollar lived in pasture with a herd of other Morgans. He has good ground manners, but can be a little hard to catch in the pasture, unless he is consistently handled. He is more on the laid-back side than the hot side. Through no fault of his own, he was not broke to ride or drive and has been a pasture pet. At only 15, he is still a young guy and it is certainly not too late for him to go to school and learn some new skills. It would be a blessing for Dollar if someone took him in and showed him how good life can be, with regular grooming, some special treats and personal attention. Who will step up to be Dollar’s angel?
